(原)独立需求与相关需求-读书笔记

以前对独立需求和相关需求的理解是错误的，其根源是读《制造资源计划-MRPII原理》一书的时候没有看透，把独立需求和相关需求看成是物料的属性了。认为独立需求是MPS的物料，相关需求是MRP的物料。

在一次ITPUB的讨论中，在骑牛后卫反驳后，我仔细看了APICS的词典，里面的原文是这样的：

independent demand

The demand for an item that is unrelated to the demand for other items. Demand for finished goods, parts required for destructivetesting, and service parts requirements are examples of independent demand.

dependent demand

Demand that is directly related to or derived from the bill of material structure for other items or end products. Such demands aretherefore calculated and need not and should not be forecast.A given inventory item may have both dependent and independentdemand at any given time. For example, a part may simultaneously be the component of an assembly and sold as a service part.

从APICS的解释中可以看出：对于同一种物料，独立需求和相关需求是有可能同时存在的。而根本的区别是：相关需求是计算出来的，而独立需求是预测出来的。那么从这个角度，可以说：独立需求和相关需求是计划属性，而不是物料属性。

世界上就怕认真二字。
