How to create VERITAS (tm) i3 startup and shutdown scripts for UNIX servers when the i3 FocalPoint is a UNIX based server
Details:1. Log in to i3 FocalPoint Server using the VERITAS i3 UNIX account
2. Change directory to <i3root>:
$ cd <i3root>
3. Run the following command:
$ ./products/i3fp/bin/psin_agents_script.sh <server_name> <start | stop>
This will create either start_i3.sh or stop_i3.sh scripts for the specific UNIX server and copy them to that server under the <i3root>/distribution directory. It is recommended that these scripts be moved from <i3root>/distribution to <i3root>.
If any agents are added or removed from the target server, the above process must be run again. This will ensure that the start and stop scripts have the correct agent configuration from the i3 FocalPoint.
